Mary Kate proudly hails from Downingtown, Pennsylvania, or, "Right outside Philadelphia". She knew she wanted to perform for the rest of her life after her hit, elementary school recess performance of Avril Lavigne's "Sk8r Boi". From there, she went on to study musical theatre at Temple University, where she graduated Magna Cum Laude in the spring of 2018.

After graduation, MK spent two wonderful years as a Resident Actor at Charleston Stage in SC, where she was trained as a theatre educator and performed roles such as "Ariel" in FOOTLOOSE and "Emily" in OUR TOWN. She can't wait until we can all safely gather in a theatre again!
